Being Remembered

I was talking to another parent in the playground yesterday about converting possible leads. His wife sends out written quotes for work, probably competing against a few other quotes. Most of the quotes are going to be around the same price, so who wins the work?

Answer - the person who is most remembered. Especially when the potential customer receives the quotes, 'files' them and then waits. Suddenly time is up and a decision has to be made.

Well his idea is to include a cheap promotional pen with every quote. The idea being that the potential customer keeps the pen handy. They keep seeing the name and when it's time to make a choice your name is already in their mind.
